By “processing of synthetic materials” we understand remodelling and finishing methods for semi-finished products (sheet material, blocks, poles, pipes). These processes are used to work over injection-moulded or extruded components as well as to produce “workman-like” individual parts (e.g. prototypes or replacement parts) or small batches, resp. to treat types of material that cannot be processed with a.m. methods.
