Continuing education, responsibility, and growth
Hi, I’m Manuela, and I’ve been with KUPER since my apprenticeship. After completing my vocational training as an industrial clerk, I was taken on in the spare parts service department – a role that I enjoyed the most during my training due to the variety of tasks and close customer contact. I quickly realized that I wanted to develop further in this area and expand my technical knowledge. As a result, I decided to pursue a part-time mechanical engineering degree, which I successfully completed in June 2021.
Thanks to the support of my colleagues and flexible working hours, I was able to balance my studies and work effectively. The opportunity to write my thesis on our planing and molding machines and gain hands-on experience was also a huge help. I spent a week working with the machines and accompanied a service technician on installation assignments to deepen my knowledge.
After completing my studies, I took on the role of Head of Spare Parts Service, where I’m involved in both daily operations and team leadership. I’m passionate about further developing the spare parts service and receiving positive customer feedback as confirmation of our progress. KUPER has supported me throughout my entire journey and provided opportunities for my continuous development. I look forward to continuing to improve the department together with my team.
