A step from assembly to engineering
My name is René Boldt, and I recently made the exciting leap into engineering at KUPER – a challenging but rewarding opportunity for me.
My journey began on September 1, 2017, with my apprenticeship at KUPER. After completing my training, I worked in final assembly, where I gained valuable insights into the workflows. My desire for further education led me to attend technical school, which KUPER supported by offering flexible working hours. Earlier this year, I was given the opportunity to transition into engineering.
This new role brings many challenges. Initially, adjusting to the internal systems, such as the ERP system, was a shift, but I am becoming more confident every day. It's exciting to better understand the processes and work more efficiently.
What motivates me most is connecting theory and practice. KUPER allows me to gain practical experience while attending technical school. Moving into the engineering department was an important step in applying my knowledge directly.
Overall, I am proud of my journey at KUPER and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
